Happy Week Before Easter to those that celebrate! I hope those of you that do, have fun family plans in order for the weekend. We're headed to MHK to spend time with my in-laws. So, the cafeteria will be CLOSED THIS FRIDAY. I'm going to grab my food orders Friday morning then bounce since both my kids don't have school on Friday.
I'm still floating through the days on a cloud of appreciation for you all! I'm embracing this moment of abundance and allowing my nervous system to relax into a bit more safety - something I haven't been able to do for years. Three weeks of consistent, higher sales is such a blessing for me, my team, and my family. So, thank you (again) one thousand times over!! And, a special shout out to Shawna for bringing me the most thoughtful lemon-themed birthday gift - like, what dimension have I moved into to deserve that?! Never in my life has an acquaintance done something like that for me... I hope those around you know how special you are, Shawna!
Now, onto the business of food...have a I got a treat for you!!! Olga is making her authentic Mexican Pozole Soup for you this week!!! I, for one, am beyond excited! Olga is from the city of Vera Cruz in Mexico. She has been such an amazing addition to my team - and forced me to dig deep into the depths of my memories to remember my Spanish classes from High School and College! I used to take my math notes in Spanglish because I couldn't remember the English words as I was taking notes...lol! Spanish Class was my jam. It was a sweet reprieve from my engineering courses. Her and I have some ideas of how to incorporate a few of her favorite authentic dishes into our Cafeteria rotation. So, be on the lookout for those!
