Week of October 13th, 2025

Hello, friends-

I have some news. My negotiations with the new landlord did not go well and I need to implement an exit plan. I'm sad that I won't get to build the vision that I had for this cafeteria space - or see you all every day. It's been such a joy to be a small part of your daily lives. You've all been so kind and supportive of me, no matter what. I really wanted this to work out but, I know my limits, and I've been pushing them for a long time. Unfortunately, this is the best decision for me and my family.

Although I'm sad, I'm also relieved that I won't have to work in a space that isn't fully functioning. Each day has been harder than it needed to be due to the restrictions of the aging kitchen equipment. My body hurts and I'm ready to rest.

The next couple of weeks, we'll focus on selling through what we have on hand. We will still have lunch pizzas, salad bar, rotating hot line, breakfast on Wednesdays, and nacho bar. However, I'm discontinuing the breakfast pizzas and coffee bar, effective immediately. We'll have bagels until this batch runs out. I hope you'll come by to continue supporting us as we start the process of vacating - and say 'hi' before we leave.

I'm not quite sure what my next move will be. I know I still want to feed people. I'm waiting for a few cards to fall into place before I can see the way forward. I'll make sure those of you who want to find me, can.
