You all have done it, again... This week's sales have been nearly identical to last week's sales! I'm blown away. Thank you for stopping in and supporting me (again). You are the best! We've been able to refresh the salad bar every day - which I love. I don't even know when the wraps disappeared mid-week?! And I think I might need to add a baker to my team...lol! Those Gooey Butter Cookies disappeared in less than 90 minutes. Like, what the heck?! I've already put in a bulk order for ingredients moving forward!!!


I so enjoyed getting a chance to chat with more new faces this week! Thanks for the constructive feedback and joyful reviews of the items you loved. You sure do know how to make me feel good!


We're doing breakfast/brunch early, again, this Wednesday - thanks to Olga! And I bought a toaster and plan on having some bagels, cream cheese, and butter available each morning, as well. I've just got to figure out where to set it up.

Guys, this past week has been our best sales week for The Cafeteria since opening a year ago - at the moment I'm writing this, they're nearly double our highest week leading up until now. I'm (almost) speechless...but, if you've ever stopped to chat with me, you know I've always got something to say!


Thank you to those of you who've supported me this past year (and beyond) and thank you to those who've just arrived and decided to support me this week, as well. You don't know what it means to a small business like mine. I've fought incredibly hard to get to this moment and I've nearly given up a dozen times since COVID hit. But, if this week's numbers are any indication of what I could build in The Cafeteria with a fuller building and access from the General Public, I'm truly, truly excited to see where this leads. More sales means I can afford more help, increase my offerings, and have less waste. This is the moment I've been working for. And I know things are tight for a lot of people right now - including myself. So, if you chose to spend a few (or a lot of) dollars to support me this week, know that my family and I appreciate it more than anything in this world. Cooking for community is my passion. My calling. My soul's purpose. I've had to prepare my heart for failure many times but, this week has given me renewed hope and strength to continue doing what I love - and sharing that love with you. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

How is this the last full week in March?! I feel like January and February took ages and now, March is practically over. April is my birthday month, so I always look forward to that!! Although, since having kids, I haven't been able to go anywhere on my birthday like I used to. My very favorite birthday was when I took my Professional Engineering exam in 2016 then immediately jumped on a plane to Paris the following day so that I could be in France on my actual birthday. What. A. Rush. Paris is amazing; I would live there if I could!


Anyways, I want to extend another warm 'Welcome' to the rest of the Bank of Labor team that is joining us this week! I'm so looking forward to meeting you - and feeding you! We've got a full week of food ahead.
