Happy St. Patrick's Day Week - and Spring Break to those with kiddos! We've gotten a glimpse of Spring so, I'm ready to jump completely into those flavors. Most notably, LEMON!!!! I adore lemon everything. LEMON-ade, LEMON cookies, LEMON bars, LEMON pasta. Give me All. The. Lemon! We'll see how I can incorporate lemon flavors into the season!

I want to extend a warm 'Welcome' to the Bank of Labor team that is moving in this week and next. I'm so excited to get to meet you - and more importantly, feed you! I love sharing food with people and I hope you can feel that when you enjoy my food. I will be around to help you learn the ropes as you navigate our Soup & Salad Bar, Hot Lunch Counter, and Grab & Go items. Check out what we're serving this week, below.

Happy March! I know I'm not the only one excited to see glimpses of Spring this past week!

I'm very excited to have my friend Ale with Red Kitchen KC in on Tuesday mornings this month with her delicious breakfast burritos! Ale took over my old kitchen lease in Downtown Overland Park. But, I've known her longer than that. She used to pop-up at the Lenexa Public Market and, eventually, had a permanent stall there with gobs of fans! I adore her Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. I hope you give her food a taste and enjoy it as much as I do!

Happy February! I'm shocked it's already here...and relieved. January felt like 1000 years to me. But now, we've got the Super Bowl to look forward to - and Valentine's Day. I'm excited to watch the game this Sunday; Go Chiefs!!

I'm operating without a freezer at the moment so, all the things I wrote about last week will have to wait until I get this worked out. Unfortunately, I had to toss a lot of stuff. Some of it needed to go but, most of it was useable. So, I'm sad about that but, I did my best to save what I could - and that's all we can do, right?

I did grab a couple of new beverages for the cooler so, check those out. I'm slowly figuring out what you all like so, we'll see how the new items fare.
